The team developing the MiaCat Discord Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you interact with our bot, including financial data related to cryptocurrency transactions and gaming activities.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through the Bot, including through Discord, third-party services, and blockchain networks.

When you use the MiaCat Discord Bot, we may collect and store the following information:

2.1 Discord User Information

  • User ID: Your unique Discord user identifier, used to associate data with your account
  • Display Name & Username: Your Discord username and display name, used to personalize bot responses
  • User Roles: Discord roles assigned to you, used for permission management and premium status tracking
  • Join Date & Timestamps: When you joined the server and when you interact with the Bot
  • Avatar/Profile Data: Optional profile information you make public through Discord

2.2 Cryptocurrency and Financial Data

  • Wallet Addresses: Cryptocurrency wallet addresses you register with the Bot for receiving payouts and transfers. Supported networks include Solana, Bitcoin, Litecoin, XRP, Ethereum, and others.
  • Transaction History: Records of all cryptocurrency payments, premium purchases, game payouts, and affiliate commissions processed through the Bot
  • Payment Information: Payment amounts, timestamps, blockchain transaction IDs, exchange rates, and payment status
  • Cryptocurrency Holdings: Your PurrPay currency balances and account balances
  • Affiliate Information: Affiliate IDs, commission amounts, and referral relationships with other users

2.3 Games, Giveaways, and Activity Data

  • Game Statistics: Game and giveaway history, prizes won, and performance metrics across all games
  • User Messages: All messages you send to the bot are stored in a database by user ID and processed to generate responses
  • User Context: Messages are stored and compacted into context summaries to improve bot responses. This context is user-specific and cannot be accessed by other users
  • Prediction Data: Your prediction submissions, bonus predictions, and prediction accuracy history
  • Virtual Economy Data: MiaCoin balances and transactions, and MiaMarkets stock/prediction-market portfolios and positions
  • Leaderboard Data: Your ranking positions across various leaderboards and competitive features
  • Vault/Account Data: Stored account balances, premium membership status, and membership expiration dates

2.4 Usage and Analytics Data

  • Usage Frequency: How often you interact with the Bot and which features you use
  • Command History: Records of commands you execute and parameters used
  • Error Logs: Error messages and failed transactions for troubleshooting and security purposes
  • Interaction Patterns: Metadata about your usage patterns and feature engagement
  • Device/Network Information: General information about your connection to Discord and the Bot

2.5 Security and Anti-Fraud Data

To protect the community and keep giveaways fair, the Bot operates a security and anti-fraud system that may collect and process: - Account-correlation and alt-detection signals: Indicators used to detect alternate or duplicate accounts (for example, to prevent one person from claiming a giveaway multiple times), which may include behavioral patterns and account metadata - Device and behavioral fingerprints: Technical and behavioral signals used to recognize and correlate accounts - Join and invite tracking: Records of how and when members join, used to detect coordinated or abusive activity - Third-party identity and reputation lookups: The Bot may query third-party services (such as alt-detection or reputation tools) to assess account risk - Suspension and moderation records: Records of restrictions, suspensions, reasons, and related evidence used to enforce our Terms and community rules

This information is used only for safety, fraud prevention, and rule enforcement, and is handled as described in Sections 4 and 5.

2.6 Optional Data

  • Profile Information: Any additional profile details you voluntarily provide to the Bot
  • Support Tickets: If you contact support, we collect your messages, Discord user ID, and issue details

2.7 Data Opt-Out and Opt-In

  • You may opt out of having your messages stored in separate databases or processed during public channel-based social functions (such as group discussions or summaries) at any time by using the %optout command.
  • When you opt out, your Discord user ID will be stored and remembered for compliance purposes, but:
  • Your messages will not be retained in the bot's conversation history
  • Your messages will not be used to build context for future responses
  • Your messages will not be used in group discussions or channel-based summaries
  • Your messages will not be processed by LLM providers for context building
  • Your messages will still be processed in real-time to generate immediate replies and may be logged for procedural or security requirements
  • You may opt back in at any time by using the %optin command
  • Note: The Bot must process your message and Discord ID temporarily in real time to generate a reply, but will not retain it for future use if opted out

3. Storage Locations and Data Retention

3.1 Local Storage

  • JSON Files: User data is stored in local JSON files within the Bot's database directory, including:
  • main_cache.json and guild-specific cache files (user IDs, roles, timestamps)
  • premium_users.json (premium membership status and expiration)
  • user_payout_wallets.json (cryptocurrency wallet addresses)
  • miamines_history.json and other game statistics files
  • premiumsales.json (purchase history and transaction records)

3.2 Local Database (SQLite)

  • SafeChat Database (safechat.db):
  • conversation_history table: Stores all Discord messages, including user ID, timestamps, message content, and conversation role
  • user_context table: Stores summarized conversation context by user
  • This database may store encrypted messages on an Azure-hosted server

3.3 Cloud Storage (Microsoft Azure)

  • Azure Cosmos DB:
  • discordDB.discordDB collection: Affiliate data including Discord user IDs, Solana wallet addresses, and account information
  • bonusPredictions.prediction-data collection: Bonus prediction submissions, prediction data, and user IDs

  • Azure Blob Storage: May store backups of user data, game statistics, and transaction records
  • Azure Functions: May process and transform user data for real-time operations

3.4 Data Retention Periods

  • Message History: Stored indefinitely in SQLite database unless you opt out
  • User Cache: Auto-refreshes every 7 days (configurable); old cache entries are overwritten
  • Game Statistics: Stored permanently for leaderboard and historical purposes
  • Transaction Records: Stored permanently for audit and compliance purposes
  • Premium/Payment Data: Stored indefinitely for billing and refund purposes
  • Wallet Addresses: Stored indefinitely as long as your account exists
  • Affiliate Data: Stored for the duration of your affiliate relationship and for 1 year after account termination

4. How We Use Your Information

4.1 Service Delivery

  • Message Processing: Messages directed to the bot are processed by third-party Large Language Model (LLM) services to generate responses. All messages passed to LLM providers are subject to their policies and are beyond the scope of this Privacy Policy.
  • Game Operations: Your data is used to:

  • Maintain leaderboards and rankings
  • Verify transaction integrity
  • Manage affiliate commissions
  • Ensure provably-fair game mechanics

  • These providers process your messages according to their own Privacy Policies and Terms of Service. We are not responsible for their data handling practices. You should review their policies before using the Bot.
  • Messages may be retained by these providers according to their data retention policies

5.2 Blockchain Networks and Cryptocurrency Services

  • Blockchain Transaction Data:
  • Your wallet addresses are recorded on public blockchain ledgers (Solana, Bitcoin, Litecoin, XRP, Ethereum, etc.)
  • Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed or made private once recorded on the blockchain
  • Your wallet address may be publicly visible on blockchain explorers and is searchable by anyone
  • Transaction history is permanently recorded on blockchain networks beyond our control

  • Cryptocurrency Exchange APIs:

  • Real-time cryptocurrency prices are fetched from:
    • Kraken API
    • CoinMarketCap API
  • These services may log your API requests and collect information about your usage
  • Exchange rates and pricing data are subject to these services' Privacy Policies

  • Solana RPC Providers:

  • Your transactions are processed through Solana blockchain infrastructure
  • RPC providers may log transaction details and your wallet activity
  • Blockchain analysis tools may track your wallet addresses

5.3 Cloud Service Providers

  • Microsoft Azure:
  • User data, including message history and transaction records, is stored in Azure Cosmos DB
  • Azure provides cloud infrastructure security, but has access to encrypted and unencrypted data
  • Azure complies with various data protection regulations but is subject to US jurisdiction
  • Your data may be backed up and replicated across Azure data centers globally

5.4 Third-Party Integrations

  • The Bot integrates with several third-party services that may receive your data:
  • Discord: Your Discord user ID, username, and roles
  • Stake.com: Game integration data (if applicable)
  • PokerNow: Poker game data (if applicable)
  • FixedFloat: Cryptocurrency exchange data (if applicable)
  • BlockCypher: Bitcoin and Litecoin transaction data
  • Each of these services has its own Privacy Policy and data handling practices

5.5 No Sale of Personal Data

  • We do NOT intentionally sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes

  • No Guarantee: No method of storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we use industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security against:

  • Phishing attacks targeting users
  • Data breaches affecting us or our service providers
  • Blockchain-based attacks or exploits
  • Third-party service compromises

6.3 Cryptocurrency-Specific Security Risks

  • Irreversible Transactions: Once a cryptocurrency transaction is confirmed, it cannot be reversed. Even if unauthorized, you cannot recover funds.
  • Wallet Security: We do not hold private keys to user wallets. If your wallet is compromised, your funds are at risk independently of our security.
  • Blockchain Transparency: All blockchain transactions are permanently visible to anyone with access to a blockchain explorer. Your wallet addresses cannot be made private.
  • Smart Contract Risk: Any on-chain operations may be subject to smart contract bugs or exploits beyond our control.

6.4 Breach Notification

  • You can update your registered wallet addresses and other account information
  • Wallet address changes are subject to rate limiting (1 per hour, max 3 per 24 hours)
  • Contact support to request correction of other personal information

7.4 Delete Your Data

  • You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting ruby@stakestats.net
  • Some data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons (transaction history, blockchain records)
  • Permanent deletion of blockchain-recorded data is not possible
  • After account deletion, you may request a final payout of any remaining balance

9. Age Requirement (18+)

  • The Bot is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. It handles cryptocurrency wallets, payments, and payouts, and is not designed for or directed to minors.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete that information and suspend the account.

10. International Data Transfers
